Digital SLR 2 Seaham Hall Hotel

Many thanks to all who attended our Digital SLR 2 photography workshop at the fabulous Seaham Hall Hotel on Sunday. It was great to see so many familiar faces as all attendees had previously attended my Digital SLR 1 course earlier in the year. So pleased that everyone had been practicing what we had taught them on the first course and were ready to expand on their skills and complete the use of all the creative modes on the camera.

Our SLR 2 course covers how your camera see's light, how to photograph moving subjects, the camera's different metering modes, how and when to use shutter priority mode and best of all how to use manual mode.

Manual mode is great to teach because it really starts to show me the knowledge the student has gained in that relationship between aperture, shutter speed, ISO and exposure.

The SLR 1 and SLR2 course gives any budding photographer a great foundation to getting the best out of your digital camera and the skills required to take consistently good photographs. Some pupils are more than satisfied with what they have learnt others see it as a great stepping stone in specialising in a particular area such as portraits or wedding photography.
